Mittenwald - a tourist town in Bavaria
An English introduction to the town of Mittenwald in the Bavarian Alps. We are given information about the town and the many frescos found on the walls of the buildings. There is then a short introduction to the German vocabulary needed to ask what time the last train leaves. Finally, we are given information in English about the Seilbahn or cable car, which takes people to the highest peak and the German-Austrian border.
This could be used as a way to inform students about the area of Mittenwald and also to show the cable cars that can be found in Germany. The vocabulary could be used to introduce how to ask what time the last train leaves.
