Key Info
  • Life on a dairy farm - Edward and Elizabeth
  • Duration: 06:52
  • Brother and sister Edward and Elizabeth live on a dairy farm in Cornwall. They help out on the farm, and enjoy the opportunities their way of life offers. Edward is 8 and Elizabeth 11. Living on a farm means they have different jobs to do. Elizabeth helps clean the holiday lets, and they both help feed the cows, collect eggs and hose down the yard. Their primary school is very small. We join Edward on an art trip to a local beach where they draw big pictures in the sand. Elizabeth's hero is her Dad. She admires the way he copes with the farm and they share family photos. Edward interviews his Dad about what the farming life means to him. Elizabeth reflects on her nationality, and is contented with her life and what it offers her. One day she'd like to take over the farm.
