How to make a water bottle rocket
Dr Yan from the BBC One series 'Bang Goes The Theory' explains how to make and launch a water bottle rocket. He outlines some safety considerations and then lists the equipment needed. He then demonstrates how to construct and safely launch the rocket before describing ways in which the design could be modified.First broadcast on BBC One on 'Bang Goes the Theory'.
After watching this clip, students could be set the challenge of designing the best rocket, varying the amount of water in the rocket and the size or shape of the bottle.
