How children celebrate 'Children's Day' in China
Join Lingo from the Cbeebies series 'The Lingo Show' as Wèi, the Mandarin bug, shows him how 'Children’s Day' is celebrated in China. They put face paint on to make themselves look nice for a very special show, where the children sing and dance. Afterwards they play games and have fun. First broadcast on 'The Lingo Show' on Cbeebies.
The children could find out more about 'Children's Day' and ask whether we have something similar in Britain. They can learn about the meaning behind the celebration and talk about what they could perform for the special day. Could be investigated as part of a topic on Chinese celebrations and festivals.
