  • Teenagers on a tour of the Houses of Parliament visit both the Commons and Lords. In the Commons, the teenagers are shown the benches and the Speaker's chair, learn about the principle of adversarial debating, and find out why MPs are not allowed to use computers in the Commons chamber. In the Lords, they learn how people are appointed to the Chamber and discuss with the Lord Speaker the image of the Lords. The teenagers then visit the Robing Room, and learn about the State Opening of Parliament and Parliamentary traditions.
