Guide to amateur Olympic boxing
Learn the rules of Olympic amateur boxing with professional boxer Frankie Gavin. In Olympic boxing, points are judged by five ringside judges. There are four two-minute bouts, but if either player builds up 20 more points over the opponent the match is stopped. Gloves and protective headgear are always worn and punches must be directed to a target area. Off-target punches are counted as fouls.
