Exercise and sports children can do to keep fit
It is important for children to take part in sport or exercise, so they can build up their body strength. There are lots of fun things they can do, including rollerblading, playing rounders and cycling. Regular activity can strengthen their muscles and keep them fighting fit.
How many types of exercise are taken by children in your class? Ask how often they exercise and for how long. Design an exercise challenge for everyone in the class and record the pupils' different activities over the course of one week. Note the frequency and keep a check on how much physical activity they do each day.
