  • Captain Saw La serves in the Karen National Liberation Army in Southern Burma. The Liberation Army are fighting for the homeland they were promised by the British after independence. We follow Captain La on a typical day in the jungle. They are hunted down by the Burmese army. A GPS is used to navigate the forests, but land mines cannot be detected and despite their precautions their medic was injured by one. This clip is from a series, recorded in 2004, about different conflicts around the world.
