Adam's Case: District Judge
The story of a fictional young offender, who has been charged with robbery and appears before District Judge David Simpson in a youth court. The young person and his mother are played by actors but all the court personnel are real professionals, treating the court appearance as if it were genuine. The judge questions the young person and his mother and must make a decision whether to give a Referral Order (a community sentence) or to adjourn the court for reports with a view to passing a custodial sentence.
