  • When Robert the Bruce and John Comyn met in Dumfries, the two men seem to have argued. Bruce stabbed Comyn who was then finished off by Bruce's men. Some argue that Bruce had planned to kill Comyn. By killing Comyn in a church, Bruce was excommunicated and this severely set back his cause. This clip has subtitles available in Flash.
