Description: This clip is divided into two short sections. Firstly, an experiment showing Bromine gas being heated in a sealed tube, turning from a solid into a liquid and then a gas. Secondly, cartoon pictures demonstrate the behaviour of particules in their three states: solid, liquid and gas. The solid cartoon pictures show the rigid structure of the particles vibrating at fixed points. The liquid cartoon particles are shown with no fixed shape and moving around. Thirdly, gas cartoon particles are shown moving randomly and rapidly to fill spaces.
