  • An explanation of Etruscan culture and the role the Etruscans had in the founding of the Roman culture. We are shown an Etruscan family tomb and the wall paintings of the afterlife are explained. The foundations of the Roman Empire are covered. We then see a recently discovered tomb where paintings of a more terrifying afterlife are revealed, including the Blue demon. This is the oldest visualisation of hell. This is explained as a result of the rise of the Romans wanted to eradicate the Etruscan culture.
