  • Liam was just five years old when his father started drinking heavily. He remembers how his father's personality changed through drink, and he sometimes became violent. Tragically Liam's father committed suicide, despite having tried to seek treatment for his problems. Liam is a teenager now and is getting on with his life. He tries to remember his dad fondly. Even though alcohol is a legal drug, Liam says he thinks it destroys families and lives. This clip was first published on BBC Newsround Online on 30 June 2010.
