Our fourth series, Phrase Frenzy, gives you a chance to test your knowledge of English idioms by looking at some pictures - but be quick, you only have 15 seconds to identify each idiom!

But be quick, you only have 15 seconds per phrase.

Your challenge: Look at these pictures and identify three idioms on the theme of...

food

You have 15 seconds for each idiom. Are you ready?

Phrase 1: To take with a pinch of salt = to not believe something completely because it might not be true.

Phrase 2: To make your mouth water = to see or smell food so it makes you want to eat it.

Phrase 3: Out of the frying pan into the fire = to go from a bad situation into an even worse one.

So how did you do?

1 correct = washer-upper!

3 correct = head chef
