SUBTEXT

Subtext is a partnership project with Adobe, Aardman Animations and Zupa to bring old school textbook margin scribbling into the 21st century.

An online audience are able to read and annotate a book online and see their own notes alongside expert opinions.

The project aims to create an interface which appeals to a generation growing up with web 2.0 and to inspire a new audience to 'get inside books'.

A production version, built by Zupa, has just launched on GCSE Bitesize under the name of Book Notes.
