Curriculum for Excellence

Curriculum for Excellence

Designed for the Curriculum for Excellence, these radio resources are made specially for Scottish primary schools.

They are intended to be used as part of active learning experiences: to get children listening, thinking, talking and doing.

All programmes are available initially through the Scottish Learners Early/1st Level and Scottish Learners Second Level podcasts. Then information and clips will become available on the programme pages, so keep checking the pages listed under previous programmes.

  • Scottish Learners Early/1st level

    Age 4 - 8

A collection of programmes targeted at different ages from Early Years to about P4, including subjects from Physical Education to Science to topic-based fun.

  • Scottish Learners 2nd level

    Age 9 - 12

A collection of programmes treating upper primary learners - from about P5 to P7 - as engaged, grown-up listeners. Some resources will also have value for early secondary learners.
