Childcare Support
To help parents make sense of their childcare options while they learn, we have some useful web resources below.
>> Childcare links
If you are looking for local information, Directgov have a useful schools, childcare and nurseries search tool.
For general information on childcare, visit their childcare section.
>> Help with childcare costs
To help parents get the best out of going to university or college, advice and financial help is available on Directgov's information for students with dependants pages.
SureStart's financial support for young parents provides information for 16- to 18-year-old parents (including dads), who want to continue their education or training, are returning to education, or training and need help with the cost of their childcare.
Care to Learn also has information on how to return to learning if you're a parent under 20.
Want to find out more about child tax credits? Tax credits can help families with children or those who need help paying for childcare.
