Led by the Learning department, the aim is to work with some of the BBC's best known programmes and brands to maximise their learning value and take advantage of the revolution in technology that brings radio, television and the internet ever closer together.
BBC Learning makes full use of digital, interactive technology to provide specialist learning resources for children and teenagers, adult learners, parents and teachers. Online is key to delivering offerings such as Bitesize revision, supporting adult learners in developing essential skills and providing classroom resources for teachers. We also draw on the BBC's best known talent along with external partnerships to enrich online content and provide a bridge to mainstream programmes.
