Born and raised on a horse farm in Lee County, Iowa, William Elliott Whitmore discovered his love of old-time music after is father gave him a $10 Sears and Roebuck guitar. His latest record, Animals In The Dark, is a slice of beautifully dusty Americana that effortlessly conveys his love of the land.
