| Name | Jacqueline Doherty |
| Age | 37 |
| Lives | Glasgow |
| Business | Founder 2FluidCreative |
With backing from Simple Minds singer Jim Kerr, Jacqueline Doherty started up 2FluidCreative, a web design and solution company based in Glasgow.
The daughter of a bulldozer driver, Jacqueline, a multi-millionaire businesswoman, has always been determined and hardworking and believes she rightly deserves what she has achieved.
I'm bringing the Glaswegian personality and the Scottish entrepreneurial spirit; we work hard, take no nonsense, we're out to win, but we like to have fun!
Jacqueline's mother died at an early age, and she says this was a turning point in her life, providing the driving force behind her need to succeed in life. She's always wanted to be a winner, and as a kid if she came second or third instead of first, she'd throw away the medal.
Jacqueline originally wanted to be an artist and went to art school to study textiles. After four years of being 'skint', and not able to find a job, her luck turned and she was offered a job in the interactive department of Caledonian Publishing, a Scottish newspaper group.
When Caledonian was taken over by the Scottish Media Group she looked for a new challenge and co-founded Reality Group, one of Scotland's first internet companies. When it was sold for £35m, Jacqueline put her shares of the profit into starting her own business 2FluidCreative in 2001.
Jacqueline now has quite a lavish lifestyle with a number properties in the UK and Barcelona, including a castle in Scotland. She also runs a property development company which she calls a 'hobby that makes money'. She also has a considerable stash of designer shoes, plus mini-wardrobes full of clothing and accessories for her dogs.
Jacqueline hungers for knowledge. She says she is blunt and to the point, but asking straight questions gets her ahead. She admits she is a diva and pretty demanding, but she has a soft side and can be a lot of fun. She says people either love her or hate her and that she'll definitely create some sparks with the other entrepreneurs.
My problem is that I've never had a boss. I've had people that have worked alongside me but they basically let me run the show.
Jacqueline believes you don't need to be ruthless to be an entrepreneur, but you need to be smart and you have to make tough business decisions. For her, a true entrepreneur is always a hair's breadth away from huge success or huge failure, and they'll put their neck on the line to go the extra mile.
Jacqueline says being on The Last Millionaire will be like a holiday compared to her daily business life. She's looking forward to the challenge and is ready to bet that she won't be the loser.
The hardest thing for her will be being away from her dogs, as they usually travel with her, even to 5 star hotels. She will also find the baggage limit a challenge, as her make-up bag alone is 20 kilos! She says she'll hate staying in a youth hostel, especially if someone snores!
