Record your voice

Listen to a native speeker. Read the same text and record your voice. Now listen to both of them carefully to find out the differences and the weak points in your pronunciation.

Try shadow reading. Listen to a tape while reading aloud from the transcript at the same time. If you can, listen through headphones and record your voice at the same time. It's a great way to learn the natural rhythm & flow of a language but be warned! It's more difficult than you think - start of with slow paced texts & it can be excruciatingly embarrassing to listen to your efforts!

Great idea! It's quite hard to listen to yourself while you're speaking, so to listen to your voice from someone else's point of view is easier to pick out your mistakes!
