Before the session, decide which new expressions you'd like the learners to pick out and make up some paraphrases for them, or give the English equivalents.
Before watching, set the context of the chosen video. Provide transcripts, cut into horizontal strips, giving each learner a piece.
Run the video, asking the learners to watch and put the strips of script into the right order. Watch the video a second time to confirm.
Give out your list of paraphrases or English expressions. The learners can work with a partner to go through the text to find the intended phrases.
Ask the pairs to compose sentences or a dialogue using the new expressions.
