Madrid is known as the city that never sleeps. Although part-time work is something of a new idea in Spain some people have two jobs.

People will start work between 8am and 9am and often work until 3pm before breaking for lunch. Office workers may return to work from 5pm to 8pm but in summer they usually finish the day about 4pm.
