How to make offers and ask questions - a few basics

  • To offer something to someone you ask the question Vuoi...? literally 'Do you want...?' If you're not on first name terms, you say Vuole...?
  • In Italian the word order is the same for statements and questions. The 'Do...?' in English isn't translated. The only difference is the questioning tone in your voice.
