Lyon has a wealth of museums and monuments, so a friend and I check what's on.
- Regarde. Il y a une exposition
au musée d´histoire. On peut y aller, non ?

- Look. There's an exhibition at the history
museum. We can go along, can't we?
- Ah non. Je n'aime pas vraiment
   les musées.

- Er, no. I don't really like museums.
- Ah, d'accord
- Ah, OK.
- Et tu aimes les monuments ?
- And do you like monuments?
- Ah, ça oui !
- Ah, yes!
- Parfait ! Il y a des visites guidées. Allons-y.
- Great! There are guided tours. Let's go.
- Bonjour. Vous avez une brochure pour les
visites guidées de Lyon, s'il vous plaît ?

- Hello. Have you got a brochure for the guided
   tours of Lyon, please?
- Oui. Voilà, Monsieur.
- Yes. There you are.
- Merci.
- Thank you.
- Bon. Il y a une visite lundi matin,
   mercredi soir et vendredi matin.

- Right. There's a tour on Monday morning,
   Wednesday evening and Friday morning.
- Bien, on y va mercredi soir ?
- Well, shall we go on Wednesday
  evening?
- Oui, d'accord.
- Yes, OK.
- Il faut acheter les billets à l'avance ?
- Do you have to buy tickets in advance?
- Bien sûr.
- Of course.
- Alors, deux billets pour mercredi, s'il vous plaît.
- OK then, two tickets for Wednesday, please.
- Très bien, Monsieur.
- Very well.
