Intonation in questions

The 'music' of your sentence plays a large role in asking questions, in French as in English. When speaking, a rising intonation, reaching a high point at the end, indicates a question even when the word order doesn't.

Listen to the difference between these statements and questions:

	Une table pour deux.	Une table pour deux ?
	Ça va.	Ça va ?
	Ici c'est la Place de la Bastille.	Ici c'est la place de la Bastille ?
	Et comme boisson,une bouteille de vin blanc.	Et comme boisson? Une bouteille de vin blanc ?
