To say that you like something you say J'aime..., 'I like...'. To say that you don't like something, you say Je n'aime pas...
To make other sentences negative, you also wrap ne... pas around the verb, e.g. Je ne mange pas..., 'I don't eat...', or Je ne suis pas..., 'I'm not...'
In normal speech, ne is usually left out, e.g. J'aime pas les légumes, 'I don't like vegetables'.
