How to describe things
A big difference in French is that adjectives - words like big, small, red, white - usually come after the word they describe, not before.
When you want to say what something contains, such as food and drink, you use a phrase with à , which in this case roughly translates as 'with'.
à changes when it's followed by the words le or les , 'the', and becomes au and aux .
