How to say where you're from
- You can say where you come from by saying Je viens de... followed by the name of the place.
- You can also say where you're from using the adjective for your country or town, e.g. Je suis anglais, English, or Je suis parisien, Parisian.
- These words have slightly different versions according to the person they refer to - masculine, feminine, singular or plural - as in the examples below.
- If a word ends in -e, it stays the same for masculine and feminine, e.g. Je suis britannique, I'm British.
