Eurovision Tongue Contest
Who said what when?

I'm Paddy O'Connell, BBC Three News and Eurovision presenter.

Such an honour!

Paddy O'Connell: 'Hallo København'

Join me for your chance to win a BBC language pack of your choice plus UK entrant Javine's single.

I'll be exploring 50 glorious years of faux pas and double entendres as I quote singers, presenters and jury spokespeople who have waxed lyrical and tried hard to communicate in more than 30 different languages.

How to play

  1. The aim of the quiz is to guess who said what, and when
  2. For each question click on the audio icon
  3. Listen to me attempting to speak the phrase
  4. Read the three possible scenarios
