is tucked away on the north east edge of Morecambe bay. Over the years,
its special climate has produced a countryside and foreshore rich in many
kinds of vegetation from wild flowers to forests. Together with Arnside
and the other villages that make up the parish, the area has been designated
as an AONB (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). This is just one out
of only 41 AONB designated areas in the country. The AONB is supported
by the countryside agency and run by a team of experts and local volunteers...
