What is your story about?

The death of my husband, he was aged 44.

The change in my life.

My sons were aged 15 and 22. The onset of my illness, M.E.

It caused another change of lifestyle.

Why did you choose to tell this particular story?

These are two traumatic events in my life, and these are the changes I have had to cope with over the past fourteen years.

M.E. has made a huge impact on my life.


What was the experience of making your digital story like?

Rewarding. Emotional. Exhausting.

I am grateful for the opportunity but the physical and mental limitations imposed by my illness made it a quite difficult experience.

The team were understanding and terrific.

My thanks to Rachel, Jen, Simon, Rose and Rob, for their support and help.

I enjoyed interacting with the other participants.
