Burnley Football Club Almost Ruined MY Life by Michael Rumney

Please tell us about yourself:
Forty-four-years-old living in Burnley. I have worked in the chemical industry for the last 25 years but would like to write. I am very interested in stage plays. I belong to a local writers group which gives me a great deal of support.

What is your story about?
The story is about an obsession with Burnley Football Club and realising there is more to life than football.

Why did you choose to tell this particular story?
I chose this story, as I think it is a subject a lot of people can relate to whether the obsession is sport, shopping or collecting stamps. We have to have variety in our lives to get more out of it.

What was the experience of making your digital story like?
The experience of doing the digital story was excellent in that you got to try out different techniques to make the story. You don’t have to be a computer expert to make a digital video. The story is the main thing I got plenty of advice on how to make the story more interesting.
