What do you miss most about living in Lancs?
The people! Lancashire folk are the most down to earth peeps I know! Salt of the earth! All my family still lives there. The green green grass of home! I miss Club days and the Agricultural shows and more than anything I miss real fish and chips! It's always my first meal when I come home to visit, and my last! Mmmmmmmmm Mushy Peas!! Also easy access to the beautiful Lake District.
What don't you miss?
Crazy hectic lifestyle! Busy busy busy!! Rush rush rush! Everything looks so small now when I come home, it's like a trip to Toy Town! And I don't miss the weather one bit ...... although when it rains here in Canada, it is a strange comfort to me!!!
What's the best bit about where you live now?
The great expanse of sky and air! I feel like I can breathe here. We have four definite seasons each as lovely as the other. To get a perspective on Canada - well now there are 65 million people live in England which you can fit in Lake Ontario and less than 30 million in the whole of Canada (now the largest land mass on earth) Yeah .. I like the space to breathe ...
