What
are the band up to at the moment?
"We're
just writing and gigging, we're at a bit of an annoying stage at
the moment. Things look like they are gonna take off but we just
have to wait and practice, practice, practice. Hopefully by the
end of summer we will have some good news. We can see the light
at the end of the tunnel, but we're just not there yet."
Your
manager also looks after Hope of the States, do you hope to achieve
the level of success that they have?
"Of
course, they seemed to come from nowhere and then they were everywhere.
They worked hard and waited for the right time and it payed off
for them. That's what we're doing now, it can be frustrating but
we know it's the right thing to do."

Is
there any news on you getting signed to a record label?
"4AD
who are a really huge indie label just contacted us recently which
is really exciting. They were just saying hello and asking us what
we're up to but it's still good news. It looks like we will be putting
out a single towards the end of the year through Seeker, the same
as Hope of the States did before they signed to Sony."
Which
bands inspire you?
As
a band we all love Joy Division, you can't not be affected by their
music. They were unique. Also Radiohead, Cooper Temple Clause and
Interpol.
And
finally...are you planning to play any gigs in Lancashire?"We
would all love to. We're pretty much exhausting the local venue
and are itching to get out and about. It's going to be the end of
summer before we get the chance though.
