The
venue was divided into 4 rooms:
Future Trance Arena
'Feel' Mad Hatter's Ball
Sugar Bear Room
Local DJ's Room.
The Future Trance Arena had the biggest names spinning their magic,
including John Kelly, Sonique and the awesome Mauro Picotto who
played his own unique style of techno and trance.
With
this in mind then it was a shame that the sound system in the FTA
lacked the punch experienced in the Sugar Bear and 'Feel' Mad Hatter's
arenas.
Alister
Whitehead wowed them in the FMHB arena (which was probably the best
arena on the night) but the best set was delivered by 'Bugged Out'
resident Justin Robertson who really got the crowd going in the
build-up to midnight.
When the New Year arrived the hundreds of complimentary party poppers
exploded in a joyous celebration.
The rest of the night was spent wishing 'Happy New Year' to total
strangers who were eager to reciprocate!
The last performance I caught was in the Local DJ Room, where Devito
saw the night out with a banging hard trance set.
All in all, the night was a complete success - roll on the next
helping of Blackpool Cream!
