Five
thousand capacity, 8 bars, 2 floors (soon to be 3) - this can only
mean one thing, The Syndicate Super Club - which opened its doors
this week to reveal the ultimate in clubbing entertainment!
From
the outside, the club looks spectacular with silver and black exterior
and 4 plasma screens to accompany the state of the art water feature.

exclusive water feature |
Inside
is just as stunning with a bright friendly interior to introduce
you to level 1.
Level
1 is made up of a series of levels with 4 marble bars and lots of
leather seats for when you fancy a rest.
The music is Pop, Commercial Dance and some RNB.
The
atmosphere in level 1 is definitely alive and the music ranged from
'Build me up Buttercup' to 'Shooting Star'.
If you like cheese then this is where it's at.
As
you progress up the metal stairs to level 2 there is another foyer
that has a quiet area for when it all gets a bit too much. There
is also a H20 bar - that way you don't have to queue just to get
some water.
You then go up another small set of stairs and you're in the dance
arena. This is made up of two levels.
| "The
owners of the Syndicate have put in a lot of time and money
- and it shows." |
On
the first level there is the huge dance floor, long bars and lots
of hard core clubbers.
The music is played on a six-deck set up and is all dance.
The
style of dance varies depending on what night you go. Thursday is
Trance night and Fridays belong to the Old Skool.
The resident DJ is none other than DJ Fubar. He is formally from
the Ministry of Sound in Thailand and clearly knows his stuff. But
it's not only the tunes that are spinning, as located in the middle
of the main dance floor there is a 40ft rotating circle in the style
of a LP record.
This adds to the unique clubbing experience that the Syndicate Super
Club has to offer.
The lasers are top class and the two large plasma screens add to
the effect.
The higher level is a large balcony that looks down on to the main
dance floor. This way people who don't like to dance can still enjoy
the music to its full potential.

The
service at the bars is quite quick considering the amount of people
present, but be prepared to wait a little longer between 12-1.00am,
as this is the busiest time.
The prices are quite expensive at £3.20 a bottle but they're not
as expensive as some of the other super clubs.
The owners of the Syndicate have put in a lot of time and money
- and it shows.
They are already making big plans and plenty of top DJs such as
Judge Jules, Tall Paul and Fatboy Slim are booked to appear at later
dates.
This is the club that proves that 'Size Does Matter!'
