quoteThere are many adjectives I could use to describe this film… although not many of them are suitable to print, so I will refrain and simply say, "It's not good!"

It's not exactly unwatchable, but I doubt it will impress the fans… more like… DEpress them!

Basically, after almost a decade-long journey of trying to bring it to screen, this film takes the monsters from the two scariest film franchises ever, sticks them on 21st Century planet Earth - 2000 feet under the Antarctic ice, and in an ancient, pre-Aztec, pre-Egyptian pyramid (of all places) - and lets them battle it out for survival.

Told you I didn't have a good feeling!"

Thrown into the mix is a team of archaeologists sent underground on a mission to explore the burial site. Led by billionaire industrialist, Charles Bishop Weyland (Lance Henriksen, who appeared in Aliens and Alien 3), they soon realise they've uncovered more than they bargained for though, when they find themselves in the middle of a war, where only one species can win. It's the team's choice now to decide which legend's side they will take!

With its extravagant sets, top notch creature special effects and plentiful action scenes this is certainly a pretty film, but with more unintentional laughs than legitimate scares and a poor script to boot, it's sure to be a flop… sorry!
In fact, it's a lot like British director Anderson's previous works, 'Resident Evil' and 'Event Horizon', it's all façade and absolutely no foundation!
