It is just beautiful to see pictures of dear old Lancashire in the winter time. I am here in Arizona where the temperature in Tucson was around 80 degrees to-day. Within less than an hour I can be in the mountains and be able to go skiing. Swimming in the pool in the morning and skiing in the afternoon. Not Bad!

Lynne Levey
I love the snow and was disappointed it came and went so quickly last Monday. Thank you to all the photographers, great photos. We are so lucky to live in Lancashire-its so beautiful and shown to it's very best in these photos.

Marina
Very class picture but where is the snow!! Lol! :P

Patricia Hendricks (nee Brown)
Formerly of Heywood; we see a lot of snow in Canada but the scenery combined with snow in Lancashire takes a lot of beating....Home Sweet Home! Still miss it

Peter
Picture 1... WOW!

Ray
The phograph is pleasing but I think the over use of enhancements sutch as Photoshop to enhance the snow is disapointing.

Wowzers! These photos are so breathtakingly beautiful! I hardly got anything done at work, I couldn't stop looking at them. I live in the snow capital of Ohio, in the USA, and sometimes I fail to appreciate the wonders of nature in winter. I take them for granted. Thank you to all the photographers. :)

I have been living in Australia for the last forty years. Almost every day I think about home (I come from Blackpool) and every time I think about home I remember the summer flowers in Stanley Park, sunny days on the sands, walking along the prom etc. This collection of winter photographs have warmed my heart better than any Aussie sun or log fire ever could. I sit here infront of my computer with tears swelling , seriously considering a visit after all these years. Thank you for all these wonderful memories I almost lost.

jo

I believe it's an oil or gas platform. I had a flying lesson in blackpool and there's a few of those that were pointed out to me. If you werent told it were blackpool though, it could easily look like alaska or canada
