Sunday Stroll In Thornton

This is Marsh Mill windmill at Thornton, it's one of the most impressive buildings on the Fylde coast. Built in 1794 by Ralph Slater, a Fylde millwright, it stands 70 feet high. It was a working mill until 1922, and is one of the largest in Europe.
