We shoud look after our village and not have big lorries coming through

I have been researching my family history and have just discovered that my Great-Grandmother was born in Croston in 1851 and married there in 1870 her name was Ellen Godbert. It was lovely to look around the village on line and I would love to find out where she lived.

I have a lot of ancestors from Croston, mainly Alty and Daltons, my gg grandad was the blacksmith in 1860 and so was his father before him, it was nice to visit where he would have worked
