Play It Again: Accrington Stanley

There's been plenty of action at Accrington Stanley FC recently from Eric Whalley stepping down, an unpaid tax bill to a takeover by Dave O'Neill.

With the club acquiring a new owner this week, Gerald Jackson is playing again a feature from the BBC Radio Lancashire vaults on the biggest little club in the world.

The Accrington Stanley special by Chris Rider pays tribute to the former chairman Eric Whalley for getting the reds back into the Football League in 2006 after being thrown out of the League in 1962 for financial difficulties.
