Jodie Prenger

Jodie crowned Nancy

Blackpool's Jodie Prenger was once 'The Biggest Loser' and now she is the biggest winner after winning the public vote on BBC One's 'I'd Do Anything' show.

Prenger - who lost eight stone on the TV show 'The Biggest Loser' in 2006 - clinched a role in the West End after the public cast her as Nancy in Oliver.

Prenger told BBC Radio Lancashire's Ted Robbins she was frightened to go to sleep in case she woke up and it was a dream!

The 28 year old described how she felt waiting for the result.

Prenger said: "Have you ever been on the Big One at the Pleasure Beach? Well, times that by a hundred and that was how fast my heart was going!

"My heart was racing at ten to the dozen!"

She will now tread the boards at the West End alongside Rowan Atkinson as Fagin between December 2008 and May 2009.
