My faith and me - Pagan Druid

John Newton from Preston tells us about his faith...

What is your faith?

Pagan Druidry

What's the best thing about your faith?

My religion is based on direct personal experience supported by the rich diversity of the wider tradition.

How easy it to talk to your friends and colleagues about your faith?

If they ask then I'm happy to answer. I have no desire to preach.

What's the biggest lie you have ever heard told about your faith?

That we all worship one God and/or one Goddess.

Who is the most inspirational person you've met through your faith?

Belisama - the River Ribble.

Who is the most famous person that follows your faith?

The most famous contemporary writer on Druidry is probably Emma Restall Orr.

What's the longest distance you've travelled to follow your faith?

All places are sacred to me - I have no need to travel in order to practice my religion.

Is there a part of your faith that you could manage without?

A good question. I'm not sure that I need any of it. And yet it defines what I do and who I am.

Is there a part of your faith that you think deserves more prominence?

Its existence as a religion?

Tell us about what your faith means to you
