Henderson ruled out for the Republic of Ireland

Preston keeper Wayne Henderson is out of the Republic of Ireland squad to face Wales at the weekend.

North End's January signing from Brighton has a thumb injury, which relates to a knock he picked up in the warm up to the defeat at Cardiff last month.

Henderson's been telling BBC Radio Lancashire's Andy Bayes that missing out on international football at Croke Park is hard to take.
