Organist, choir trainer, teacher turned travel agent Neil Shepherd!

Neil was born in Hindley, near Wigan in Lancashire. After college in Manchester, he took up his first teaching appointment at Lawrence House Preparatory School, Lytham St Annes followed by a position at a school in Clitheroe.  Twelve years in the South West of England followed.  After 5 years in the Cotswolds where he was Organist and Master of The Choristers at Cirenceste rParish Church, the third largest Parish Church in the country, Neil and his family  moved back to the North of England  and now live in the beautiful Ribble Valley. 

Neil has been involved in the music world for the last 22 years including a wide range of experience including teaching, church music, travel and tour management, theatre organ playing and choral workshop management. Neil was been Director of Music at Cirencester Parish Church, "The Cathedral of The Cotswolds". 

Neil now works in the travel industry and is Managing Director of The Travel Shop (Europe) Ltd, Route2Russia Ltd and Vox Musica Tours based in Whalley, near Clitheroe.  He continues his interest in music in his spare time by being Organist and Director of Music at a large Parish church in Lancashire and teaching a small number of private students.
