Handbag

Lancashire designers bag the fashion elite

Blackburn designers Kate Ball and Jenny Loram-Spring have set the trend for the world's top supermodels - with their £2.99 canvas handbag.

"Everyone can have it, it's not just Kate Moss."

There's been a fashion frenzy for the bag after Kate Moss was spotted using one.

The two designers both graduated from the University of Central Lancashire and all profits from the bag are going to the Princes Trust - which helped them set up their Dead on Arrival business.

Ball reckons that the success of the must-have bag is down to both the design and accessibility.

Ms Ball said: "The fact that is so affordable is great because it means everyone can buy it. Everyone can have it, it's not just Kate Moss."

Fifty thousand bags have been sold so far at Superdrug.
