Where can I fly fish for trout within about a 70 mile radius of Newcastle?

As you probably realise, I couldn't get to know every fishery countrywide. For anglers like yourself living in the North-East there is an excellent book titled 'Where to Fish North-East Stillwater Trout Fishing' by Bob Smith and Alan Young.

This is published by Sigma Leisure ISBN 1-85058-75704 Reference River Fishing.

I suggest you ask in your local tackle shop about trout fishing on the River Tees and Swale. The latter river has some excellent trout fishing.
