On average, Blackpool gets about 12 million visitors a year, who bring in about £600m of revenue to the resort.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach has grown from just one ride back in 1896, to more than 145. Then there's the newest roller coaster of course, 'The Big One', a "white knuckle ride" that attracts more than 6.8 million visitors to the park a year.
