Walk to work
My mind berserk
Feeling tired.
Ignored. Admired.

Walk to work
Where strangers lurk
The cars shoot by
On low
I’m high

And breathe the salty breeze
See the mud
See the trees

I think of all that’s to be done
All the battles fought, and won.

Ben Barton
